Making Memories

Today, September 7, 2013, I decided to just walk and sit by the bay near San Francisco City.

And watched the America’s cup. The America’s cup is the oldest trophy in sport dating back to 1851.

The America’s cup 2013 features the best sailors in the world and racing the fastest boats.

And the very famous Golden Gate bridge.

“We clear the harbor and the wind catches her sails and my beautiful ship leans over ever so gracefully, and her elegant bow cuts cleanly into the increasing chop of the waves. I take a deep breath and my chest expands and my heart starts thumping so strongly I fear the others might see it beat through the cloth of my jacket. I face the wind and my lips peel back from my teeth in a grin of pure joy.”

Colors of Autumn

From the song ‘The Autumn Leaves’, I was so inspired to take pictures of the trees and leaves.

The falling leaves drift by the window

The autumn leaves of red and gold

I see your lips, the summer kisses

Image
The sun-burned hands I used to hold

Image

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”  ― Albert Camus

“San Francisco itself is art, above all literary art.  Every block is a short story, every hill a novel.  Every home a poem, every dweller within immortal.  That is the whole truth.” – William Saroyan
